The inputs in cubase input are definitely not redlining, nor is the physical box red lighting, so its not because im recording too loud. I have Asio Digidesign Driver Mbox2 selected in my VST Audio system. Cubase will have been recording "What U Hear" from the Windows mixer panel. Do you see anything in Cubase? If you are seeing a wave recorded in Cubase, it's likely unusable anyway. What you are hearing is the input from the M-Box. Have you chosen Digi(AVID?) ASIO for your driver in Cubase? You need to use the correct ASIO driver.
